PARTNER – Mark A. Garcia CPA, MBA
Mark A. Garcia is the founder and managing partner of ipCFO, Inc., which provides accounting, financial, business management and information technology services using a proven method and culture that is guaranteed to INCREASE PROFITS and SAVE COST.
He has over 20 years experience in Accounting, Finance and Business Management. Born and raised in Tampa, Mark graduated from Jesuit High School and attended Loyola University in New Orleans, before transferring back to the University of South Florida and earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration. In addition he has been a CPA since 1987.
Mark began his career in public accounting with Price Waterhouse and gained additional experience with a local firm and a private business for the first 10 years of his career. In 1997, at the request of his major clients, Mark began offering services as Chief Financial Officer to their companies. During this period he noticed 2 major characteristics in the business environment of his clients:
- The “TRADITIONAL INDUSTRIAL AGE” accounting, financial and administrative business functions CAN and SHOULD be changed to an “INFORMATION & PROFIT SEEKING FUNCTION” as opposed to a necessary cost center.
- BETTER utilization of existing Information Technology will GEOMETRICALLY INCREASE PROFITS and SAVE COSTS.
This philosophy of the “INFORMATION AGE accounting, financial and administrative SYSTEM” is necessary to survive and profit in today’s business environment. Mark has increased profits utilizing these proven practices over the past 10 years.

- An executive with over 20 years experience in Accounting and Distribution system design, development and improvement
- Managed projects involving Oracle and Microsoft technologies for the past 20 years
- Involved in design and development of commercial software applications for over 14 years
- As a Consultant, implemented Accounting, Distribution, Service Management & Manufacturing applications for over seventeen corporations between 2000 and 2008
- Experienced in international business and corporate acquisition
- CFO – Southern Surgical Supply (A Medical Supply Distribution & Service Company) –1996 - 2000
